Juventus dominate for 90 minutes and come away with all three points, cruising past Genoa en route to a 2-0 victory. Cuadrado’s goal directly from a corner after nine minutes was added to when Dybala’s left-footed drive beat Sirigu at the far post. Despite conceding twice, the Genoa goalkeeper was absolutely outstanding in this match; the only thing standing in the way of five or six more Bianconeri goals. Chances from De Ligt, Cuadrado and Morata were all denied by the European Championship winner - who received very little support from his team-mates in front of him. With less than 65% possession and kept without a shot, Shevchenko’s side failed to offer anything as Juve sent wave after wave of attack - looking for insurance. The win takes Juventus into sixth place, level on points with Fiorentina above them, while the loss - and fourth successive match without a goal - keeps Genoa in 18th.

Juventus host Malmo in Wednesday’s Champions League action ahead of a trip to Venezia next Saturday in Serie A. Genoa play again on Friday in a huge match - hosting Sampdoria in the Derby della Lanterna.

That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Genoa! We hope you’ve enjoyed it!

Pandev has scored six goals against Juventus in Serie A, although only one came away from home back in December 2004 with Lazio. Among the players currently in the competition, he is one of only three to have scored more than five goals against Juventus, alongside Giovanni Simeone and Duvan Zapata (6 each).22:32

  7. 82'

Bernardeschi picks up the assist on Juve’s second goal as his pass brought Dybala into the play.22:33

  8. 82'

JUVENTUS HAVE THEIR INSURANCE! 2-0! Bernardeschi plays a pass into the penalty area with the outside of his foot for Dybala, who gets on the ball and fires a low drive to the far post with his left - beating the outstretched palm of Sirigu!

    Paulo Dybala
  9. 80'

Kulusevski plays a teasing ball into the penalty area with his stronger left foot but both Dybala and Kean are unable to get on the end of the pass as Sirigu is allowed to step forward and pick it up under no pressure.22:24

  10. 78'

Genoa almost play themselves into trouble during an attempt to pass it short out of the back - but Hernani is able to give it back to Sirigu, who whacks it forward immediately.22:23

  11. 76'

Cuadrado plays a pass to Dybala on the edge of the penalty area and the forward immediately plays a pass back into the 18-yard box for the right-back, who evidently didn’t get the message as the ball rolls comfortably out for a goal kick.00:04

  12. 74'

Kean runs across Biraschi during the defender's attempted clearance - catching his shooting leg after the ball had gone. It's a yellow card for the Juventus substitute.22:18

  13. 73'

Vanheusden is on for Bani as Shevchenko continues to look for a way to change the match. 22:17

  14. 73'

Morata is taken off by Allegri as Kean is sent on - which prompts the Spain international to get into an argument with his coach on the sidelines. The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker unleashes his frustration on Allegri, who isn’t shy of yelling back.22:17

  15. 72'

Morata is called for handball inside Genoa’s penalty area and has words for both Biraschi and the referee. The striker has been furious for much of the game but this time his talking gets him in trouble as the referee produces a yellow card.22:15

  16. 71'

A Cuadrado corner looking for De Ligt is met by an important touch by Cambiaso - who gets it out of the penalty area before latching back onto possession.22:14

  17. 69'

Should Juventus win, Allegri will celebrate his 150th win in Serie A with Juventus and his 250th win overall in the competition - the Italian could become just the second manager to reach 250 wins in the competition in the three points per win era, after Carlo Ancelotti (275).22:13

  18. 67'

FANTASTIC SAVE! Bernardeschi floats a cross to the right side of the penalty area for Cuadrado, who shapes his body perfectly and hits a volley at the first time of asking with the inside of his boot - looking to play it back across the face of goal into the bottom corner. Sirigu leaps on the shot and makes a necessary stop - preventing a rebound in the process!22:10

  19. 65'

Pandev shows his experience, baiting Locatelli into lunging into a challenge in midfield which gives Genoa a free-kick.22:08

  20. 63'

The corner-kick from Cuadrado makes its way through the penalty area and finds Dybala on the edge of the box. The forward hammers a volley towards goal but again the goalkeeper doesn’t have to move to make a save.22:07

  21. 62'

Great footwork from Bernardeschi wins the winger a bit of space ahead of Portanova. The Italy international works it back to his preferred left foot and drives an effort towards goal that takes a touch on the way behind for a corner.22:07

  22. 61'

Cambiaso teases a cross towards the far post that evades the head of De Ligt, but some quick thinking from Szczesny allows the goalkeeper to knock the delivery down before gathering the loose ball.22:04

  23. 59'

Toure won't play any further part in this match. Portanova is selected to see out the remainder. 22:03

  24. 59'

Behrami is also replaced at this time, as Galdames takes over in midfield. 22:03

  25. 58'

Genoa are set to make three changes with 30 minutes left to go as Shevchenko searches for an answer. The first swap sees Pandev replace Bianchi. 22:02

  26. 57'

De Ligt fires an ambitious shot towards goal after finding himself in time and space in midfield. It’s a well-struck effort but it’s put straight at Sirigu, who makes a clean catch.22:00

  27. 55'

Genoa have only won two of their 54 away games against Juventus in Serie A (D4 L14), last doing so in January 1991 thanks to a Tomas Skuhravy winner (1-0).21:59

  28. 53'

Morata wins the ball from Bani just outside Genoa’s penalty area after Chiellini’s pass forward is misplayed by the defender. The mistake allows the Spain international to fire a shot looking for the far post but great reflexes from Sirigu keeps the deficit at one!21:58

  29. 51'

DYBALA GOES CLOSE! Morata plays a pass across the face of the 18-yard box for Dybala, who has the time to lay it off for himself before wrapping his foot around the ball - sending a devilish curling effort towards goal. Sirigu is forced into a full-stretch dive but luckily for him the shot goes just over the crossbar!21:55

  30. 49'

Cambiaso is shown a yellow card for tugging back Kulusevski after Genoa’s corner was repelled - sending Juventus on a counter-attack.21:53

  31. 48'

Toure wins a corner-kick after volleying the ball off the chest of Chiellini but the midfielder’s high boot also catches the defender - sending him to the ground in need of a moment. The referee fails to award Juventus a set-piece however, allowing the corner to proceed.21:52

  32. 46'

Juventus get the match restarted from the kick-off! 21:48

  33. 46'

A change at the half sees the booked Pellegrini replaced by Sandro at left-back. 21:47

  34. Despite having a deep bench, the options available for selection for Shevchenko don’t exactly inspire confidence. The veteran Pandev seems the best option should Genoa want to play with a little bit more cutting edge, as the clever forward is always capable of something from nothing. Juventus will no doubt hope to keep the intensity up and take advantage of their momentum by bagging a second - which should allow Allegri a chance to rest one or two players ahead of a Champions League tie against Malmo in midweek.21:34

  35. Juventus head into the half-time interval at Allianz Stadium leading Genoa 1-0, thanks to Cuadrado’s stupendous goal, scored directly from a corner-kick after just nine minutes. The score doesn’t tell the full story however as the Bianconeri have thoroughly dominated proceedings, Amassing 13 total shots and six chances created while the Griffins were held to zero in both categories. Allegri’s side should really have more of a stranglehold on the scoreline but wasted opportunities from Bernardeschi and De Ligt as well as good goalkeeping from Sirigu has kept it respectable. It will take quite the effort for Shevchenko’s side to get back level as Bianchi and Ekuban haven’t been involved in the match whatsoever. 21:33

  36. 45'+1'

    HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 GENOA. 21:33

  37. 44'

GREAT STOP AGAIN! Morata gets on the end of Dybala's cross eight yards from goal - lunging forward to turn the ball towards goal in an attempt to beat Sirigu from close range. The goalkeeper is able to drop quickly to his knees however and block the effort - turning it behind for a corner. 21:33

  38. 42'

Morata gets into the penalty area and looks to whack a shot at goal but he’s called for a foul on Biraschi - which infuriates the Spain international. It did appear as though a two-handed shove sent the defender over as Genoa are awarded a free-kick 12 yards from goal.21:29

  39. 40'

With five minutes left in the half, Genoa have failed to take a single shot. It's been an easy fixture so far for Szczesny as all the action has occurred in the visitors' half - much to Sirigu's dismay. 21:27

  40. 38'

Juventus have won each of their last three games against Genoa in Serie A, by the same 3-1 scoreline; they have managed the exact same scoreline four times in a row against a single opponent only twice in their top-flight history - 0-0 v Atalanta in the 1960s and 1-1 v Roma in the 1950s.21:28

  41. 36'

WHAT A SAVE FROM SIRIGU! Juventus win the ball back after their corner is cleared and Bernardeschi immediately swings a cross into the penalty area from the left edge of the box. De Ligt remains onside and gets his head on the delivery - forcing Sirigu into a point-blank reaction save. Morata is there to tuck the rebound home but again the Italy international goalkeeper repels the danger! It remains 1-0!21:24

  42. 35'

Pellegrini delivers a Juventus corner from the left towards the penalty spot but Bani is first to it - clearing the initial danger with a convincing header.21:25

  43. 34'

Pellegrini goes into a sliding challenge in order to win the ball but the referee deems the slide reckless as Ghiglione is sent crashing to the turf. It’s a yellow card for the Juventus left-back, who is starting ahead of Sandro today.21:21

  44. 33'

Cuadrado swings the free-kick to the far post for De Ligt, who is able to rise above his marker to get a headr to the ball. It’s a good effort from the Netherlands international but too close to Sirigu, who catches comfortably.21:21

  45. 31'

Dybala is pushed over by a frustrated Behrami as Juventus are awarded a free-kick on the right wing inside Genoa’s half.21:18

  46. 29'

Locatelli leads with his elbow during an aerial duel with Toure - catching the Genoa midfielder in the back of the head. It’s a free-kick for the visitors inside their own half - though it will go a long way to relieving the pressure.21:15

  47. 27'

Pellegrini puts a cross into the penalty area from the left, which is easily cleared by the head of Biraschi. The defender can only direct it to the edge of the 18 for Bernardeschi, whose volley towards goal fails to find the target.21:13

  48. 25'

Good work on the ball gets Genoa up the pitch into Juve’s half but a misplayed pass from Cambiaso fails to find Bianchi - allowing De Ligt to intercept.21:11

  49. 23'

Dybala is dropping very deep to pick up possession, often popping up inside his own half to help facilitate movement between defence and midfield. It’s freeing space higher up the pitch for Morata and Bernardeschi to drive into - though the final pass has often been a bit lacking.21:09

  50. 21'

Morata is brought down by a cynical Hernani challenge, with the midfielder stepping across the Juventus forward and catching him on the foot in order to prevent a counter-attack. The referee keeps his cards in his pocket but the Bianconeri are awarded a free-kick.21:08

  51. 19'

Locatelli leans back and has a go at goal from 20 yards out - sending his effort sailing high over the crossbar.21:04

  52. 17'

Bernardeschi’s cross to the far post is brought down by Morata, whose deft first touch allows the striker to hook it over his shoulder towards the penalty spot for a team-mate. It looks to be a promising position but the linesman’s flag is raised immediately for offside.21:04

  53. 15'

Morata plays Bernardeschi into the penalty area with a lovely incisive pass but the winger is unable to beat Sirigu - shooting with his weaker right foot and forcing a great near-post parry out of the goalkeeper.21:02

  54. 13'

It’s been a grim start for the visitors, who find themselves a goal behind and have - as of yet - been thoroughly unable to retain possession. Juve have done well in the early stages harrying the man on the ball and winning it back in dangerous areas.21:00

  55. 11'

Interestingly enough it’s the second Olimpico - a goal scored directly from a corner - of the weekend in Italy as Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu managed the same feat yesterday in Inter’s 3-0 defeat of Roma.20:57

  56. 9'

JUVENTUS TAKE THE LEAD WITHIN 10 MINUTES! It’s an unbelievable hit as Colombia international Cuadrado scores directly from a corner-kick, sending his delivery curling into the top corner, beating a full-stretch Sirigu at the far post! Incredible goal! 1-0!

    See Juan Cuadrado's player card21:02

    Juan Cuadrado
  57. 6'

Locatelli slides into an ill-advised challenge, going through the back of Biraschi with little chance to play the ball. It’s a free-kick for the visitors as the match official urges the midfielder to calm down. He won’t get another warning.20:52

  58. 5'

Dybala attempts a one-two pass with Kulusevski, looking to play the Sweden international into the penalty area, but quick thinking from Vasquez clears the ball.21:18

  59. 3'

Bentancur is pushed off the ball in midfield as Bianchi and Behrami combine to win the ball back from the Uruguay international, but it’s done in too physical a manner as the referee awards Juventus an early free-kick near the centre circle.21:07

  60. 1'

Genoa get the match under way from the kick-off! 21:18

  61. Genoa make five changes to the starting line-up that lost 3-0 to Milan on Wednesday. Two alterations in defence see Masiello and Vanheusden dropped for Bani and Biraschi respectively, while Nicolo Rovella, Milan Badelj and former Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro are all uninvolved today - making space for Behrami, Hernani and Toure in the centre of the park. 20:33

  62. Juventus make a single change from the XI that beat Salernitana 2-0 on Tuesday, as a swap at striker sees Kean replaced by Morata.20:33

  63. GENOA SUBS: Stefano Sabelli, Pablo Galdames, Zinho Vanheusden, Laurens Serpe, Goran Pandev, Andrea Masiello, Federico Marchetti, Manolo Portanova, Filippo Melegoni, Aleksander Buksa, Adrian Semper.20:33

  64. GENOA XI (3-5-2): Salvatore Sirigu; Davide Biraschi, Mattia Bani, Johan Vasquez; Paolo Ghiglione, Valon Behrami, Hernani, Abdoulaye Toure, Andrea Cambiaso; Flavio Bianchi, Caleb Ekuban.20:33

  65. JUVENTUS SUBS: Kaio Jorge, Koni de Winter, Moise Kean, Arthur, Marco Raina, Daniele Rugani, Leonardo Bonucci, Matias Malvano, Carlo Pinsoglio, Adrien Rabiot, Alex Sandro.20:33

  66. JUVENTUS XI (4-2-3-1): Wojciech Szczesny; Luca Pellegrini, Giorgio Chiellini, Matthijs de Ligt, Juan Cuadrado; Manuel Locatelli, Rodrigo Bentancur; Federico Bernardeschi, Paulo Dybala, Dejan Kulusevski; Alvaro Morata.20:33

  67. With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let's take a look at how the two sides are lining up - starting with our hosts! 20:33

  68. Andriy Shevchenko will take charge of his fourth match at the helm for Genoa, with the Rossoblu losing two of their last three fixtures - including a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Shevchenko’s former club; Milan. Without a single goal in that span, the former Ukraine international and national team head coach will need to get results soon as the Griffins find themselves in a relegation spot, two points adrift of Spezia in 17th.21:04

  69. Juventus got back to winning ways on Tuesday, responding to their 1-0 defeat against Atalanta last weekend with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Salernitana. The Bianconeri find themselves 10 points back of a Champions League spot after 15 matches - though three points at home tonight would put Max Allegri’s side above Roma and Lazio and level with Fiorentina in fifth. Juve’s home form has been spotty of late, however, losing two of their last three matches in Serie A at the Allianz Stadium.20:14
