Gladbach win what must be their first corner of the game as Plea's shot in the box is blocked. Inter manage to get in the way of Neuhaus' effort, and Darmian tumbles over just outside Gladbach's box in the aftermath but it's no foul. 22:37

Chance for Inter! Perisic whips the corner in and it's nodded on to D'Ambrosio at the far post who blazes wide from a few yards out! It came at the defender fast but that was a golden chance for Inter to regain the lead.22:32

Lukaku shows great strength and skill to hold up the ball and angle it out to Perisic wide left. Perisic's high cross is no great shakes but Inter still get a corner out of the move.22:31

Eriksen and Lukaku look the likeliest to break the deadlock at the moment. Lukaku's scored nine goals in 11 European appearances for Inter since last season. Only Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland can top that record in that time. If Inter can give the Belgian a few more chances in the second half, you wouldn't bet against him putting one away.21:53

Eriksen drifts wide left and plays a one-two with Lukaku, going down on the edge of the box. The referee isn't interested in the slightest. Eriksen's increasingly putting his stamp on proceedings though.21:40

Gladbach are growing into the game, even if they're still yet to have a shot on goal. The visitors hound De Vrij at the back, blocking off his passing angles, but the Dutchman successfully manages to play his way out.21:39

Lukaku slips into a challenge and crashes into Embolo. The Belgian apologises and accepts the inevitable Gladbach free-kick.21:37

The corner comes in and Lainer is able to just beat Lukaku to the header. Gladbach go up the other end and briefly cut Inter open with Lainer crossing first-time for Plea. It's a touch too far ahead of the Frenchman for him to reach though and Inter escape. 21:34

Lukaku takes a direct all down and lays off straught to Eriksen who powers towards the box. The Dane eventually shoots and wins a corner for Inter.21:32

Eriksen spots Darmian making a run inside and finds him with a fantastic pass. Darmian clips the ball into the box but the Italian is just offside.21:29

Inter keep things tight for a moment or two, making Gladbach work off the ball. Gladbach have created precious little but they're proving hard for the hosts to break down. 21:28

Embolo barrels straight into D'Ambrosio when the centre-back thinks he has time on the ball, cleaning D'Ambrosio out. It's an obvious foul. Embolo smiles sheepishly and generously helps his opponent up.21:32

Vidal protests as Bensebaini plays the ball straight into the Chilean's raised arm. The free-kick goes Gladbach's way.21:25

Gladbach find themselves back on the ball but Lainer wastes it with a rotten cross straight to an Inter player. The visitors are working hard but haven't quite clicked going forward yet.21:24

Inter come their closest yet to scoring! Sanchez chests the ball down and feeds Darmian wide right. The wing-back cuts back for Eriksen whose shot is blocked on the line! Gladbach scramble clear.21:22

Sanchez approaches the box from the right and finds himself blocked off by several Gladbach defenders. Darmian takes the throw and Gladbach successfully push Inter back until Kolorov punts an over-ambitious pass out of play.21:21

Gladbach put together a decent move which ends with Thuram pushing over Darmian near the touchline. Inter happily take the free-kick.21:20

Neuhaus fluffs his attempted crossfield ball to Lainer and Inter regain possession. Lukaku passes out wide to Perisic who crosses in low. The Croatian can't find a teammate in the box despite several men in black and blue lurking there.21:17

Vidal challenges for a header with Embolo and the Gladbach man comes off the worse. Gladbach get the free-kick and the chance to keep the ball themselves for a while.21:15

Eriksen goes straight for goal from the free-kick. There's a decent amount of pace on the strike but not enough to prevent Sommer from catching it. Gladbach have barely got out of their own half in this opening quarter of an hour.21:14

It's all one-way traffic at the moment. Darmian crosses in from the right and Sommer rises high to claim it. Vidal is tugged down by Neuhaus shortly after in the middle of the pitch.21:13

A Gladbach attack breaks down and Sanchez and Lukaku spring forward on the counter. Lukaku looks left for his teammate but Lainer is there to block the cross and clear.21:12

Perisic beats two Gladbach defenders down the left and crosses high in the box. It's over the top of Lukaku but Darmian arrives at the far post to get his head on the end of it. The wing-back can't keep his header down though.21:06
