After just edging the first half, the Rossoneri didn't create any noteworthy chances in the second half, and as Udinese's substitutes came on to change the game, Milan didn't react quick enough as Udogie scored the equaliser! A game sparse in chances and quality, but one which Udinese will be happy to have drawn knowing they fully deserved their point at the San Siro!
The introduction of Pereyra from Udinese's bench really helped to shape the game in their favour as the second half wore on. In just 35 minutes, he won eight duels, produced two shots from inside the box, and completed all of his passes within the final third, one of which was a spectacular overhead cross to set up the equaliser!
Although far from an ideal result for Milan, this draw sees them extend their lead at the top of Serie A to three points, although their city rivals Inter in second have two games in hand. For Udinese, their point only lifts them one place to 14th, however the side are now favour points clear of the bottom three, with a game in hand over most of the sides below them.
