They trailed at the break, after Ilic fired Verona into the lead on 15 minutes, but Martinez made it 1-1 with a header just after the restart and Inter then pushed forward in search of a winner. They finally got their second goal on 83 minutes, when Correa marked his debut with a goal to make it 2-1, before the striker grabbed another in stoppage time to make sure of the three points.
Inter will face Sampdoria in two weeks time after the international break, meanwhile Verona will hope to pick up their first points of the season against Bologna.
