Milan survive a late barrage to defeat Genoa 2-1. The hosts quickly took the lead in this one when Rebic fired in a spectacular half-volley, and they could have added to their lead through Leao. But Genoa equalised against the run of play when Destro headed in Zajc's corner just before half time. Milan continued to dominate the second period though, and got their reward when Calhanoglu's corner hit Scamacca and went in for an unfortunate own goal. The visitors rallied late on and were unlucky not to equalise, when Tomori and Kjaer both heroically made clearances on the goalline to ensure Milan collected all three points.

The result means that Milan cut Inter's lead at the top of Serie A to eight points, while Genoa drop to 14th.

That's all for now though, goodbye!

Kjaer's searching long pass over the top of the defence sails straight through to Perin. 12:54

  51. 21'

Genoa have only won one of their last nine Serie A matches and it's already looking like they won't be able to arrest that slide today. 12:52

  52. 19'

Chance for Leao! Milan work a flowing move that ends with Calhanoglu slipping Leao in behind the defence! However, the striker's angled drive from 12 yards is too close to Perin and the goalkeeper blocks it to safety!12:51

  53. 17'

Badelj's corner is headed clear at the near post by Kjaer. 12:49

  55. 13'

It was a simple pass from Kalulu out towards Rebic to retain possession, and surely he didn't expect the brilliant strike that followed!12:48

  60. 6'

Calhanoglu's cross runs all the way out to Theo, who skews a shot well wide from just outside the box. 12:37
