It's all over! Inter prevail over Udinese on the final day of Serie A and the champions can really begin their celebrations! They sign off in emphatic fashion. Antonio Conte looks jubilant and their players grin like Cheshire cats. They are victorious; at San Siro, it has finished Inter 5-1 Udinese.

Everyone is on their feet to applaud, and outside the stadium, the roar of approval can be heard across all of Milan. This is a day that will live long in the memory. Inter are champions of Italy once more.

As the celebrations kick into overdrive, we'll leave you there - but there's still the small matter of just who will make the Champions League in Serie A still to come. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a great day!

    FULL-TIME: INTER 5-1 UDINESE16:51

  2. 88'

Martin Palumbo also replaces Walace for the visitors.16:49

  3. 88'

He is! It is a debut for Manuel Gasparini, who replaces Musso for the last few minutes here.16:49

  4. 87'

Udinese third-choice shotstopper Manuel Gasparini is getting stripped on the bench. Is he about to make a late entrance?16:48

  5. 85'

For Udinese though, the risk of some of their biggest players making way this summer remains a serious threat. Musso has not had a match to remember, but like De Paul, his suitors are not shy.16:47

  6. 83'

Is this the dawn of a new era for Inter? There will be change over the summer, of course, and the chance of building a sustained dynasty at the top like Juventus have is surely a bridge too far. But they'll be favourites to defend this crown next term, and they won't want to disappoint.16:44

  7. 81'

In 2013, Udinese beat Inter 5-2. In 2017, Inter beat Udinese 5-2. Don't tell us there's a chance of history repeating itself again today?16:39

  8. 79'

GOAL! ROBERTO PEREYRA CONVERTS THE PENALTY FOR UDINESE! 5-1! It is consolation, which only robs Inter of a clean sheet. This party is too far on to be ruined now.

    See Roberto Pereyra's player card16:40

    Roberto Pereyra
  9. 78'

VAR confirms - there is a handball! Roberto Pereyra will line up the spot-kick.16:40

  10. 77'

Hello, do Udinese have a penalty here? Eriksen looks to have been caught for a handball inside the box and the referee is going to have a look at the monitor after originally dismissing it.16:38

  11. 75'

Inter have lost only one of their last 12 Serie A matches against Udinese, collecting nine wins in this period (D2).16:41

  12. 73'

Lukaku now latches onto a pinpoint cross from his other old Manchester United comrade Young and heads this one over the crossbar from distance. The onetime Red Devils trio have really shown just what they've been missing at Old Trafford.16:33

  13. 71'

GOAL! ROMELU LUKAKU MAKES IT A FAB FIVE FOR INTER! 5-0! It's a bit of a freak finish for the Belgian, but it will certainly count; Alexis Sanchez lobs a cross towards the far post for him, only for it to bounce off the woodwork, onto his chest at close-range and in past Musso. The hosts are having a glorious time.

    See Romelu Lukaku's player card16:32

    Romelu Lukaku
  14. 69'

Is this the final time Rodrigo de Paul leaves the field for Udinese? He is off and Jean-Victor Makengo is on.16:32

  15. 67'

Lukaku pops up looking for a header, moments after helping to draw a foul down the other end, but is said to have impeded the Udinese defender there with a push on the shoulder.16:28

  16. 65'

With that, Pinamonti - one of the few attackers for Inter not to score today - makes way and Alexis Sanchez is on.16:25

  17. 64'

Vecino spearheaded that break through the middle there, and had any number of options to choose. He went for the Croatian on his left and found his mark with style to spare.16:26

  18. 64'

GOAL! IVAN PERISIC GETS IN ON THE ACT FOR INTER! 4-0! Talk about a showcase of talent for the hosts. They break, five against three, and it is the substitute who shapes a beautiful finish in at the far top corner past Musso. Superb stuff.

    See Ivan Perisic's player card16:24

    Ivan Perisic
  19. 61'

Udinese have conceded 14 goals from penalties in Serie A this term: a record for a team in a single Serie A season since data begins in the 1994/95 campaign.16:24

  20. 59'

Fernando Forestieri also replaces Marvin Zeegelaar for the visitors.16:21

  21. 59'

Now Udinese ring the changes too as Stefano Okaka makes way for Fernando Llorente.16:20

  22. 57'

After winning that penalty, Hakimi also leaves, with Ivan Perisic his replacement for the hosts.16:20

  23. 57'

With that goal, Lautaro can leave on a high now - and Romelu Lukaku is on for an encore for Inter.16:16

  24. 55'

GOAL! LAUTARO MARTINEZ NETS THE SPOT-KICK FOR INTER! 3-0! Ain't no stopping them now! Cool as you like, the Argentine rolls it into the bottom-left corner, against Musso, his old friend. Superb stuff and now San Siro's handful of fans are truly coming alive.

    See Lautaro Martínez's player card16:16

    Lautaro Martínez
  25. 54'

Penalty to Inter! It is the eighth time in the last nine games that Udinese have conceded a spot kick and they do so again here, Hakimi felled with a messy challenge by Zeegelaar. Martinez will take...16:14

  26. 52'

Martinez! It is opportunistic in the way that the ball breaks for him deep in Udinese territory but the shot is magnificent - and Musso has to stretch full-length to deny him. The Argentine went very close there.16:12

  27. 50'

De Paul nearly gets that goal too! It is an error from Padelli to allow the Argentine through and only some last-gasp defence just in front of the goal-line saves the keeper's bacon.16:09

  28. 48'

Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul could become the fifth Argentine midfielder to score 10+ goals in a single Serie A season (since 1994/95), after Franco Vazquez (10 in 2014/15), Javier Pastore (11 in 2010/11), Erik Lamela (15 in 2012/13), and Papu Gomez (16 in 2016/17).16:09

  29. 46'

There has been a change at the interval for Inter - and it is in goal. Daniele Padelli will get a run-out for the final 45 minutes or so of the season, with Samir Handanovic handed an early bath.16:06

  30. 46'

We are back underway at San Siro. Will Inter run away with this one to keep the party going? Or can Udinese spoil the atmosphere?16:06

  31. Antonio Conte is cutting a relaxed figure today - and can you blame him? Save that injury for Sensi, his last game of the season is going off without a hitch, so to speak. Luca Gotti is gravel-faced on the whole.16:08

  32. Goals for Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen means that the party has got started in Milan - and that Inter are headed for a last-day flourish in Serie A to put the gloss on their title. The hosts haven't been livewire throughout, but they have done more than enough to control this game. Half-time at San Siro, it is Inter 2-0 Udinese.15:50

  33. 45'+2'

    HALF-TIME: INTER 2-0 UDINESE15:50

  34. 45'

There will be two added minutes in this first half.15:48

  35. 44'

GOAL! CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN WITH THE FREE-KICK FINISH FOR INTER! 2-0! Oh, there have been so many stories about the Denmark star looking unsettled in Milan after his move from Tottenham - but he certainly hasn't been over the past few months. His free-kick is great, and takes a kind deflection to outsmart Musso, nestling in the centre of the net. The hosts double their lead.

    See Christian Eriksen's player card15:48

    Christian Eriksen
  36. 43'

Gagliardini is felled at the edge of the Udinese box now, just outside the "D" and Inter have a free-kick. Eriksen and Young stand over it...15:46

  37. 41'

This has been a particularly low-wattage encounter, hasn't it? Antonio Conte may want the tempo pumped up somewhat after the interval, but with so many players here in the frame for a busy international summer, there's a caution in the air.15:45

  38. 39'

It's a blow for Sensi, given that he hopes to feature at Euro 2020. Christian Eriksen replaces him for Inter.15:42

  39. 38'

Stefano Sensi isn't looking too good out there - and indeed, there's movement on the bench. He may be set for an early end to his afternoon, not for the first time.15:41

  40. 36'

Vecino has a crack from distance and fires well over the crossbar, but still gets some praise from his manager on the sidelines. The tempo is well under control here.15:39

  41. 34'

This game has settled into a relatively sedate, lazy Sunday afternoon feel. For Inter, this is a procession and that opener from Young means that they have the luxury of being able to drift.15:37

  42. 32'

After keeping a clean sheet at the Meazza in the last two Serie A seasons against Udinese, Inter could collect three clean sheets in a row at home against the Friuliani for the first time in their Serie A history.15:37

  43. 30'

Martinez absolutely drives in on Becao again and that is definitely a final warning that comes from the referee for the Inter man. He does not agree that it was a foul, but he may well be in the last-chance saloon for his conduct now.15:34

  44. 29'

De Paul pulls the trigger on a half-volley now and it is sprayed over the goal. Inter have a free-kick regardless for an earlier infringement.15:32

  45. 28'

Romelu Lukaku is already out warming up. Antonio Conte will not want to finish the season a man light in the last game - and the way Martinez continues to fume, there may be an early change coming.15:33

  46. 26'

Martinez promptly returns the favour with a studs-up challenge and Becao goes down with a howl. That will be a yellow card for the Argentine.15:29

  47. 25'

Rodrigo Becao sidesweeps Martinez with a particularly rough, top-heavy challenge now and the latter ends up almost in the stands. He's not happy about it in the end.15:28

  48. 23'

Pinamonti has picked up a few knocks so far and he gets some attention again from Udinese's defence. They've picked him out over Martinez as a potential weak link.15:25

  49. 21'

Gagliardini skims away on a short break and is felled inside his own half, drawing the foul to earn the free-kick.15:24

  50. 19'

Ranocchia - the sole survivor of the Inter side that won the Coppa Italia a decade ago - is looking particularly sharp around the back. There are so many unsung heroes in this Inter side, particularly compared to their onetime ESL rivals. They've earned this triumph.15:23

  51. 17'

A half-chance arises for Udinese now, with De Paul offering a swift ball into the box and Bonifazi almost getting the flick-on. It's a quick reminder for Inter that this game isn't going to be a cakewalk - not just yet, anyway.15:20

  52. 15'

Sensi's delivery is particularly flat this time however and Udinese see away the danger.15:18

  53. 14'

That's not a half-bad delivery from Sensi, who fires a low effort in through the crowded area. The hosts are looking suitably sparky today and win a subsequent corner in short order.15:17

  54. 12'

Pereyra trims down Martinez on the left flank and Inter will have a set-piece opportunity in line with Udinese's box.15:17

  55. 10'

Udinese lost 0-1 against Sampdoria last time out and could fail to score in two consecutive matches in the competition for the first time since October 2020 (three).15:13

  56. 8'

Talk about a delightful spot of interplay there. The visitors would have liked a clean sheet today, but that's gone up in smoke already at San Siro. The mood is jovial for the hosts.15:12

  57. 8'

GOAL! ASHLEY YOUNG OPENS THE SCORING FOR INTER! 1-0! In what could possibly be the former Manchester United man's final match, he snags his first of the season, playing a cute one-two with Martinez and smuggling home a close finish past Musso, complete with a somersault follow-up as he falls over the goalkeeper. The Nerazzurri have got the party started!

    See Ashley Young's player card15:11

    Ashley Young
  58. 7'

There's a host of players out of contract at Inter after today of course, so the question lingers whether they can sign off with a flourish. They'd hope so.15:13

  59. 5'

Musso draws the free-kick inside his own box after Inter charge into his area seeking a loose ball. The keeper has been linked with a move to the opposition today at points, and he'll surely want to put on a good display.15:11

  60. 3'

It's a cautious start in Milan as both teams tease each other out across the opening exchanges. It's a bright day; the sunshine is something of a nuisance when the ball goes high.15:06

  61. 1'

We are underway in this Serie A clash between Inter and Udinese!15:03

  62. The teams have emerged at San Siro and we are moments away from kick-off.15:02

  63. Inter will become the first team in Serie A history A to reach 3000 games in the competition: 1495 wins, 834 draws and 670 losses so far.14:54

  64. Inter have kept a clean sheet in their last six league games against Udinese; only against Reggina (11), between 2003 and 2008, have the Nerazzurri had a longer streak without conceding against a single opponent in the competition.14:49

  65. Subs: Simone Scuffet, Salah Basha, Manuel Gasparini, Fernando Forestieri, Martin Palumbo, Thomas Ouwejan, Jean-Victor Makengo, Thomas Battistella, Fernando Llorente, Alessandro Rigo.14:41

  66. UDINESE (3-5-1-1): Juan Musso; Rodrigo Becao, Kevin Bonifazi, Samir; Nahuel Molina, Rodrigo de Paul, Walace, Jens Stryger Larsen, Marvin Zeegelaar; Roberto Pereyra; Stefano Okaka.14:41

  67. Subs: Romelu Lukaku, Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella, Alexis Sanchez, Ionut Radu, Christian Eriksen, Ivan Perisic, Daniele Padelli, Arturo Vidal, Stefan de Vrij.14:41

  68. INTER (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D'Ambrosio, Andrea Ranocchia, Alessandro Bastoni; Achraf Hakimi, Matías Vecino, Stefano Sensi, Roberto Gagliardini, Ashley Young; Andrea Pinamonti, Lautaro Martinez.14:41

  69. There's not too many surprises from either side today as they round off their campaigns. Ashley Young, once again out wide for the hosts, will join a rare band of Englishman to triumph with the Scudetto. As for Udinese, could Rodrigo de Paul be playing his last game today amid transfer speculation?14:43

  70. In the form of Luca Gotti's side, they're blessed with a relatively low-stakes final run-out too; a mid-table side long since safe from the drop and too far out of the European race to have something on the line. All they have to play for is pride - but will that be enough to spoil the Nerazzurri's party?14:38

  71. Antonio Conte's men have brought their best and left the rest in their dust this term in the hunt for the Scudetto - and now, on the last game day of the campaign, their achievement will be honoured. After a decade-plus separation, the title is theirs - and they'll be out to celebrate.14:34
