Inter's pursuit of the Serie A title continues. They've managed to see off a stubborn Parma side who gave the would-be champions plenty of problems. The game was even in the first half, but Inter upped their game in the second period with Sanchez grabbing two goals in eight minutes. Parma rallied after that, pulling a goal back through Hernani, but Inter managed to see the win out.
Inter's win sends them six points clear at the top of Serie A, increasing the space between them and their rivals Milan. Conte will be delighted at the grit that his team showed. Lukaku in particular was great once again. Parma stay 19th, six points from safety. Their consolation goal should give them heart. They've scored a quarter of their goals this season in their last three games.
Inter cement their position as the team to beat then, having extended their current winning run to six games. If Conte's men can carry on like this, a first league win in 11 seasons is surely in their grasp. That's all for now. Goobye!
