It's full-time, with Milan running out 3-0 winners. It's a very comfortable win in the end for the visitors, who took the lead after ten minutes with a brilliant Ibrahimovic free-kick that gave Sirigu no chance. They went on to dominate most of the first half and doubled their advantage in first-half added time as Messias sent a header looping over Sirigu as the ball rebounded up into the air, They killed the game off soon into the second half as a brilliant move led to Diaz laying the ball off for Messias, who superbly finished his second of the match to make it 3-0. They bossed the final half an hour and Genoa created little, leading to an easy victory for Pioli's men.

Those three points for the visitors leapfrog them above city rivals Inter back into second place and with Napoli conceding late against Sassuolo, Milan are just a point off top spot. They host bottom side Salernitana next as they look to carry on their title charge. For the hosts, they remain in the bottom three as they are now 12 games without a win. They face a tricky test away to Juventus next as they look to get out of the relegation zone.
