Juventus were far too good for Parma, as Ronaldo doubled his personal tally in the second half with a rifled effort low into the far corner, before Morata’s late, well-placed header gave him a goal to add to his two first-half assists and rounded out Juve’s 4-0 victory. Parma were unable to trouble the Bianconeri’s defence, rarely putting De Ligt and Bonucci under pressure despite needing goals after the interval. Gagliolo’s volley dragged wide represented the best chance Liverani’s side created, which simply wasn’t enough to ruin Buffon’s first clean sheet since November. Juve’s biggest Serie A win of the season sees them go joint-second ahead of tomorrow, while Parma drop one place - into 15th.

Parma are back in action again on Tuesday when they travel to face Crotone, while Juventus host Fiorentina on the same day.

That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between Parma and Juventus! We hope you enjoyed it!

The fourth official indicates one minute will be added for stoppages at the end of the second half. 22:33

  3. 89'

Cyprien puts a corner into the penalty area but it is punched out of the box by Buffon after Cuadrado is unable to get a telling header to the delivery. 22:41

  4. 87'

Morata storms towards goal looking for his second of the match, but Osorio shields Sepe well and watches the striker run out of room - putting it out for a goal-kick.22:30

  5. 85'

Bernardeschi makes an impact after coming on less than 20 minutes ago, assisting Morata for Juve's fourth.22:42

  6. 85'

JUVENTUS GET A FOURTH! Bernardeschi sends a fantastic cross into the penalty area for Morata, who has enough time to pick a spot and place his header - putting it just beyond Sepe’s reach!

  7. 85'

Kurtic comes off for Brugman as Liverani makes another change.22:28

  8. 82'

Ronaldo is given an early rest as Chiesa replaces him with eight minutes left.22:26

  9. 80'

Juventus are looking to keep a clean sheet on the road for the first time since June against Bologna in Serie A (11 games since then), while they last conceded at least one goal in 12 away games in a row in August 2010 (15).22:22

  10. 78'

Hernani finds Busi on the overlap, but the full-back’s cross into the penalty area is a poor one - repelled by Danilo at the first time of asking.22:21

  11. 76'

Portanova replaces McKennie as Pirlo also makes an alteration in midfield. 22:20

  12. 76'

Bonucci is replaced by Cuadrado as Pirlo realigns his defence with 15 minutes remaining.22:18

  13. 73'

PARMA WASTE A CHANCE TO GET ONE BACK! Hernani has time to look up from the right flank and pick out Gagliolo at the back post. The cross is delivered with beautiful shape, but the left-back can only send his volley across the face of goal and behind for a goal-kick!22:18

  14. 70'

Gagliolo puts a rushed cross into the penalty area despite having no team-mates in the opponent's 18-yard box, but he wins a corner after Bentancur failed to hear Buffon’s call and turned it behind.22:14

  15. 68'

Pirlo makes a change with just over 20 minutes remaining as Ramsey is replaced by Bernardeschi.22:11

  16. 67'

Kulusevski floats an inviting cross into the penalty area looking for Ronaldo, but Sepe steps off his line to deny the forward a chance at a hat-trick.22:10

  17. 65'

Hernani has a sight at goal from well outside the 18-yard box and lets a shot fly, dragging it wide of the target. All it required was a touch from Inglese to turn it towards goal - but the striker was unable to get a telling touch on the delivery.22:08

  18. 63'

Karamoh goes on a lovely run outside the penalty area and plays an incisive reverse-pass, but the Juventus defence are in-position to see out the attack and poke possession away from Inglese - forcing Parma right back outside the 18.22:06

  19. 61'

The final change is in attack as Inglese is sent on for Cornelius. 22:04

  20. 60'

Liverani’s second alteration is in midfield as Cyprien replaces Kucka.22:03

  21. 60'

It’s a trio of changes for Parma at one time. The first sees Busi in for Iacoponi.22:03

  22. 58'

As we approach the hour, the only thing that remains in question is how many Juventus will be able to score. With Ronaldo on a hat-trick, there’s no doubt that he will continue to will his side forward, despite the already comprehensive score.22:02

  23. 56'

Juventus continue to rack up the corners, but they’re once again unable to capitalise after Ronaldo fails to steer Bentancur’s delivery towards goal - missing the target by some distance.22:00

  24. 54'

JUVENTUS HAVE A FOURTH BUT IT WON’T STAND! Bentancur’s corner finds McKennie, who can only power his header at the hands of Sepe. Unable to catch, the goalkeeper pushes the effort away - directly into the path of De Ligt, who finishes high into the net. Unfortunately for Juve, the outswinging corner is deemed to have left play before re-entering - giving Parma a goal-kick.21:58

  25. 52'

Bentancur’s corner looks for the head of Ronaldo, but Hernani is first to it as it’s put well outside of the penalty area.21:55

  26. 50'

BUFFON WITH A HUGE SAVE! A cross pulled back into the penalty area finds an unmarked Kucka - but the goalkeeper gets down to block the effort on the goal line before Bonucci sweeps it away! 22:15

  27. 48'

Ramsey's simple pass into the penalty area gets him an assist as Juventus are running rampant. 21:52

  28. 48'

RONALDO MAKES IT 3-0! Ramsey plays a pass into the penalty area, which Ronaldo latches onto and dispatches into the far corner from the left-hand side! Sepe could only flail at it as it beat him for pace!

  29. 46'

Parma get the match restarted from the kick-off! 21:48

  30. 46'

Parma make a change at half-time as Karamoh replaces Gervinho on the wing. 21:48

  31. If Parma are to make their presence felt in this match, set-pieces are their best avenue of attack. Cornelius’ tall and strong frame can easily nick the hosts something from a corner or free-kick, though that’s only possible if Gervinho is allowed to get on the ball and drive towards goal. Juventus have little to change going forward except perhaps some tired legs as they will look to shut down the match and hold the three points they have.21:32

  32. The gulf in quality shone through in the first half, as Juventus enter the interval with a comfortable 2-0 lead. It may have taken 23 minutes to open the scoring, but the visitors were in the ascendency from the outset - attacking in numbers with no fear of getting opened up at the other end. Morata was involved in both of the strikes; his backheel finding Kulusevski to open the scoring before his cross serviced Ronaldo for the second. The hosts offered little aside from the occasional counter-attack, as Gervinho and Hernani were kept off the ball for most of the half.21:31

  33. 45'

    HALF-TIME: PARMA 0-2 JUVENTUS.21:31

  34. 44'

Ronaldo sends a cross in from the right flank, but Alex Sandro is unable to keep his flicked header from the near post on-target!21:34

  35. 42'

De Ligt receives a two-handed push in his back near the touchline from Kucka and receives a free-kick for the infringement.21:28

  36. 40'

Cornelius is brought down by Danilo just as the striker was looking to break out of his own half. It’s a yellow card for the Juventus right-back.21:26

  37. 37'

Parma have failed to score in three of their last six home matches against Juventus in Serie A, having scored at least one goal in 17 of their opening 19 home games against Juventus in the top-flight. 21:26

  38. 35'

Bentancur’s cross is taken to the mass of bodies inside the penalty area, but Ronaldo is unable to do anything with the delivery as Parma eventually get it away from their area.21:20

  39. 34'

Iacoponi clips Alex Sandro’s standing leg - giving Juventus a free-kick deep in Parma’s half.21:20

  40. 32'

Kurtic’s corner looks for Cornelius, but Ronaldo is back to do his defensive work as he nods it out of the area.21:17

  41. 30'

Juve didn’t take their foot off of the gas after opening the scoring, and they don’t look like slowing down after doubling their advantage. It’s the Bianconeri’s most complete first half in a while, as it usually takes longer for Pirlo’s side to break the deadlock.21:17

  42. 28'

Ronaldo takes a curling effort from well outside the penalty area at the first time of asking, meeting the rolling ball with great precision - but it’s sent over the crossbar.21:16

  43. 26'

Juve have two goals in three first-half minutes; both thanks to Morata assists. 21:14

  44. 26'

RONALDO RISES HIGHEST FOR 2-0! Juventus double their lead through a simple header at the back post after Morata’s chip into the penalty area obviously finds a leaping Ronaldo - who tucks it away without issue!

Juventus have won six of their last eight Serie A matches against Parma (D1 L1), including the last two away games in a row against them. 21:11

  46. 23'

Though it was Alex Sandro's cross - Morata is credited with the assist for a backheel flick on the ball during its way through to Kulusevski. 21:10

  47. 23'

KULUSEVSKI SCORES AGAINST HIS FORMER CLUB! There’s no celebration from the former Parma winger after Alex Sandro’s cross from the left side of the penalty area sneaks through to the other side for an unmarked Kulusevski to slot home! 1-0 Juventus!

    Dejan Kulusevski
  48. 20'

Sohm’s lazy play in midfield allows Bentancur to steam through and steal the ball, but his shot from the edge of the penalty area is poor; a slow-rolling poke to the far post.21:07

  49. 18'

Ramsey finds Ronaldo, who immediately plays a lovely backheel pass through the heart of the defence for McKennie. The United States international is in a great position to test Sepe - but his inability to keep onside means the defence can clear without any danger.21:04

  50. 16'

JUVE CAUGHT BUT BUFFON SAVES THE DAY! Kucka is played clear through to the back post after lovely transitional play, which started deep in Parma’s half, but the counter-attack comes to nothing as the veteran goalkeeper closes his legs in the nick of time to block the close-range effort.21:34

  51. 14'

Juventus are bringing their side extremely high up the pitch, with Alex Sandro and Danilo operating just outside of the penalty area. De Ligt is taking up a position more closely aligned with holding midfield as well - as the hosts commit themselves forward in order to take an early lead.21:01

  52. 13'

McKennie chips a pass over the defence into the penalty area for Ramsey, but the former Arsenal midfielder is unable to get a touch on the ball after flinging himself at it inside the six-yard box - allowing Sepe to step forward and collect it comfortably.21:34

  53. 11'

Bonucci is again looking to link up with a striker after playing a pass from deep in midfield, but Bruno Alves is there to beat the pass away with a strong header.20:58

  54. 9'

It’s been a composed opening 10 minutes for the visitors; Juventus have been able to play the ball from left to right and front to back with little issue as Parma sit back and wait for a counter.20:55

  55. 7'

Bentancur’s curled-in free-kick hits Sepe in the hands, but the goalkeeper is unable to catch it as he invites a bit of a scrum in the six-yard box - one that’s quickly dealt with by a defender.20:53

  56. 6'

Ronaldo looks to take on Hernani as he drives towards goal, but the midfielder has no qualms about very obviously pushing the forward over and accepting a Juventus free-kick.20:53

  57. 4'

Bentancur’s corner finds Bonucci, but his volleyed effort towards goal is harmless after De Ligt’s deflection takes most of the sting out of the shot.20:51

  58. 2'

Hernani wins the ball from Ronaldo in the early stages but his cross is unable to find Cornelius as Bonucci was well-placed for the interception.20:49

  59. 1'

Juventus get the match underway from the kick-off! 20:46

  60. Parma make four changes of their own to the XI that drew 0-0 with Cagliari last time out. Gagliolo replaces Giuseppe Pezzella, while Sohm is preferred in midfield to Matteo Scozzarella. Hernani returns to the middle of the park, sending Karamoh out of the side, and striker Inglese makes way for the imposing Cornelius. 20:54

  61. Juventus make four changes from their 1-1 draw with Atalanta in midweek. Buffon replaces Szczesny in goal, while Alex Sandro is in for Cuadrado at left-back - pushing Danilo across into the right-back position. Ramsey replaces Artur in midfield and the left wing sees Chiesa dropped for former Parma player Kulusevski.20:35

  62. JUVENTUS SUBS: Wojciech Szczesny, Carlo Pinsoglio, Juan Cuadrado, Radu Dragusin, Gianluca Frabotta, Federico Chiesa, Adrien Rabiot, Federico Bernardeschi, Manolo Portanova, Cosimo Marco Da Graca. 20:30

  63. JUVENTUS XI (4-4-2): Gianluigi Buffon; Alex Sandro, Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs De Ligt, Danilo; Aaron Ramsey, Rodrigo Bentancur, Weston McKennie, Dejan Kulusevski; Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata.20:30

  64. PARMA SUBS: Simone Colombi, Botond Balogh, Maxime Busi, Wylan Cyprien, Jacopo Dezi, Giacomo Ricci, Yann Karamoh, Juan Brunetta, Roberto Inglese, Drissa Camara, Lautaro Valenti, Gaston Brugman.20:29

  65. PARMA XI (3-5-2): Luigi Sepe; Yordan Osorio, Bruno Alves, Simone Iacoponi; Riccardo Gagliolo, Jasmin Kurtic, Hernani, Simon Sohm, Juraj Kucka; Gervinho, Andreas Cornelius.20:29

  66. With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let’s take a look at how the two sides will be lining up - starting with the hosts!20:29

  67. Juventus travel to the Ennio Tardini looking for the three points which would take them level with second-place Inter - just one back of leaders Milan - ahead of tomorrow’s action. The Bianconeri have gone 12 matches unbeaten in the league while maintaining their reputation as the best defence in Serie A (10 conceded in 12 games), though they’ve been unable to keep a clean sheet since the middle of November.20:22

  68. Parma sit a comfortable five points off the relegation zone after 12 matches - thanks in part to a run of four Serie A matches without defeat (with two clean sheets in that time). Though they’ve only been able to manage a goal per game in attack, Fabio Liverani’s side have proved to be a tough outfit at the other end - allowing just 19 goals (better than anyone but Udinese in the bottom half).20:16
