Udinese stall Juventus' march to the Serie A title with a stunning late 2-1 victory. In a tight first half, it initially seemed as though everything would go to plan for the away side when De Ligt thundered in the opener just before the interval. However, Udinese found a deserved equaliser early in the second period when Nestorovski stooped to head beyond Szczesny after good work down the wing from Sema. From there, Juventus looked more likely to find a winner, but they were largely restricted to shots from distance and they were shocked in stoppage time when Fofana scored a wonderful solo goal on the counter-attack to hand the hosts a priceless three points.
The result means that Juventus will have to wait another game to secure the league title, but with Atalanta still six points behind, they won't be too concerned yet. Udinese, meanwhile, pull themselves further from the relegation zone and move up to 15th after a crucial victory.
