Milan snatch a late winner to clinch a 3-2 victory over Lazio, which sends them back to the top of Serie A. It was 2-1 at the break, but Immobile levelled the score line after 59 minutes and Lazio then had numerous chances to go on and win the game, but they couldn’t find the breakthrough. Hernandez then headed home in injury time to take the three points.
Milan move one point ahead of Inter at the top of Serie A and they will face Benevento next after the festive break. Meanwhile Lazio remain eighth in the table and they will face Genoa next.
