Juventus steal all three points thanks to two second-half goals assisted by Cuadrado, as the Bianconeri win 2-1 at the Allianz Stadium. Cuadrado’s goal wiped off for goalkeeper interference on the hour didn’t matter in the end as first McKennie and then Bonucci lined up to put their headers past a flailing Sirigu during a frenetic 12-minute spell. Torino looked assured in defence with the lead but began to creak and ultimately could not keep up with the hosts’ onslaught. Pirlo’s side were nowhere near their best in this contest, but a victory in the derby is always a positive, no matter how you play. The result sends Juventus second, three points behind Milan ahead of the Rossoneri’s clash with Sampdoria tomorrow. Torino stay 18th, but could drop a spot should Genoa win their next match.

Juventus travel to face Barcelona in the Champions League this week, before a Serie A fixture against Genoa next weekend. Torino are in action again in seven days when they host Udinese.

That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Torino, we hope you enjoyed it!

  2. 90'+6'

Bonazzoli is shown a yellow card for a late, cynical foul. 19:57

  3. 90'+4'

Cuadrado is shown a late yellow card as he allows his overzealousness to get the better of him in a challenge. 20:03

  4. 90'+4'

The fourth official indicates seven minutes will be added for stoppages.19:56

  5. 90'+3'

Ansaldi is removed by Giampaolo, as Bonazzoli is given a chance with just a few minutes remaining. 19:56

  6. 90'+2'

Bernardeschi is sent on in place of Dybala as we enter injury time. 19:51

  7. 90'+1'

Segre is in for Linetty as Giampaolo is now forced to chase the game. 19:51

  8. 90'

Pinsoglio, Juventus' backup goalkeeper, has been shown a red card despite being a substitute on the bench in the aftermath of Juve's second goal. 20:07

  9. 89'

BONUCCI SURELY EARNS JUVENTUS THE VICTORY! A Juventus corner is cleared, but the hosts are allowed to get back on the ball and Cuadrado is able to tease in a delightful cross from the corner of the penalty area. The delivery finds the head of the captain, who guides the ball past the goalkeeper with ease! 2-1!

    Leonardo Bonucci
  10. 89'

Cuadrado may not have a goal to his name, but his two assists have put Juventus in a position to gain all-three points. 19:50

  11. 89'

WHAT A BLOCK FROM LYANCO! Just as good as a goal at the other end as the defender spins and turns to get into position to block a volley from close range - keeping his goalkeeper protected.19:49

  12. 88'

Belotti finds himself on the turf yet again after winning a free-kick from Bentancur. The Torino captain is invaluable, offering his services all around the pitch despite being a striker. This time he wins a break in play which allows his team to readjust and take a desperately needed breather.20:05

  13. 86'

Chiesa brings two defenders towards him, allowing space for Ramsey inside the penalty area, but an important touch from N’Koulou puts it behind for a corner.19:46

  14. 84'

Torino haven’t looked the same since being dragged back level, as tiredness is definitely setting in. The visitors have just over five minutes to hold on for a point which will bring them within one of safety ahead of tomorrow’s play.20:05

  15. 82'

Torino play themselves into danger after a poor Rincon clearance, which gifts Juventus a corner. The set-piece is dangerous as it’s allowed to get through the bodies in the 18-yard box, but it’s cleared in the nick of time. 19:42

  16. 80'

Juventus have drawn five games in the current league season, the last time they drew at least six of their first 10 Serie A matches was back in 1965/66.19:40

  17. 77'

Cuadrado thought he had the equaliser just under 20 minutes ago, but he'll have to settle for the levelling assist as his cross found McKennie in a goal-scoring position.19:39

  18. 77'

MCKENNIE MAKES IT 1-1! A corner-kick taken short ends up at the foot of Cuadrado, whose perfectly timed cross finds McKennie at the far post! The simple header from the substitute restores parity just over 10 minutes from time!

    Weston McKennie
  19. 76'

Lukic makes an immediate impression; unfortunately for him, it's on the referee as he goes into the book for a late sliding challenge.19:35

  20. 74'

Torino make a change in attack as they look to hold onto the lead. Zaza is the man to make way as Lukic is brought on in his place. 01:09

  21. 74'

Meite has had a superb match and he adds to his involvement by covering N’Koulou inside the penalty area, winning the ball back inside his penalty area and winning a free-kick. He’s been absolutely everywhere today.19:34

  22. 72'

De Ligt gives away a poor foul on Belotti inside Torino's half as the visitors looked to break out of their half. The centre-back is shown a yellow card. 19:32

  23. 71'

The midfield gets a reshuffle as McKennie is introduced as Rabiot is recalled to the bench. 19:31

  24. 71'

Alex Sandro replaces Danilo as Pirlo makes changes with less than 20 minutes left. 19:31

  25. 70'

Lyanco steps through Bentancur and catches him late - which earns the defender a yellow.19:30

  26. 68'

Oh it’s absolutely delightful skill from Meite, who steps through Ronaldo and Dybala’s simultaneous press and plays a perfect ball out to the flank for Zaza. He’s been tremendous in midfield all match - one of the reasons they remain in the lead.19:29

  27. 67'

Belotti does his defensive work, stepping in and winning the ball from Chiesa before poking it to Meite. The Torino midfielder is allowed one step before drawing a foul from Bentancur, allowing Torino to move up the pitch from a free-kick.19:26

  28. 65'

Ronaldo teases a cross into the penalty area for a late-arriving Ramsey, but Sirigu is quick off his line to make a diving grab.19:24

  29. 63'

Cuadrado has given up his position at full-back entirely as he maintains a position high up the pitch on the right side. Juventus are playing with the necessary urgency and an equaliser looks likely at some point.19:22

  30. 61'

Juventus can count themselves unlucky, but it does appear to be the correct call to wipe the goal away. With 30 minutes remaining Juventus are still behind, but Torino are offering less and less as the match goes on.19:21

  31. 59'

JUVENTUS SCORE BUT IT’S CALLED BACK! The Juventus corner is repelled to the edge of the penalty area, where Cuadrado latches onto it and lashes a shot which gets through the mass of bodies and finds the back of the net. After a VAR check, however, it appears as though Bonucci was interfering with the goalkeeper’s vision while in an offside position and it remains 1-0!19:19

  32. 57'

Kulusevski seemed to have a bit of a shoulder problem, and he's the one removed as Ramsey comes on. 19:16

  33. 56'

Dybala finds Ronaldo inside the penalty area, but Lyanco is there again as the Torino defence work tirelessly to protect Sirigu. It’s a corner for Juventus, who look to make a change before the set-piece.19:16

  34. 55'

Lyanco rises high to get to the delivery, but a flailing Szczesny gets a desperate fist to the ball, punching it away with power.19:13

  35. 53'

Four shooters to pick from, but it’s Rodriguez who uses his left foot to deliver the set-piece. It’s taken towards the goal but the wall does it’s job and deflects it. After regathering possession, Belotti is thrown down on the left wing - giving Torino yet another free-kick.19:12

  36. 51'

The patience pays off for Torino as Kulusevski drags Linetty down just outside the penalty area in a central position - earning the Juventus winger a yellow card. Can the Toro make it 2-0 from the set-piece?!19:11

  37. 50'

Torino hold possession for the first time in the second half as they look to step higher up the pitch after a sustained period of defending. Giampaolo’s side are showing no urgency as they gather their breath.19:10

  38. 48'

Bentancur looks to play a pass out to the wing in midfield but puts it in between Kulusevski and Cuadrado and out for a Torino throw-in.19:07

  39. 46'

Torino get the match restarted from the kick-off, ahead by 1-0! 19:06

  40. Juventus are throwing everything they can at Torino, but are leaving themselves constantly exposed at the back. Should Juventus not manage to find the leveller soon - Torino could very well counter-attack their way into a two-goal lead. Pirlo has a number of options from the bench should he look to switch things up: with Alex Sandro able to both cover in defence as well as push forward in attack and Ramsey able to carry a team up the pitch with his relentlessness.18:53

  41. The first half comes to a close with Torino ahead by a score of 1-0, thanks to N’Koulou’s early poked finish from a corner after Meite’s assist. Juventus were the dominant team in the first half, controlling the tempo and pushing for an equaliser, but Giampaolo’s 3-5-2 has held firm in the face of wave after wave of attack. Despite the pressure, Sirigu has not been put under too much threat as Ronaldo, Kulusevski and company only hit the target once in the opening 45 minutes. Torino look happy to sit back with their lead and defend what would be an exceptional three points.18:53

  42. 45'+1'

    HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 0-1 TORINO. 19:44

  43. 45'+1'

The fourth official indicates there will be just one minute of time added.18:48

  44. 45'

Belotti smashes a flying volley from the edge of the 18-yard box after a delightful Rincon cross - but the shot was never likely to find the target.18:48

  45. 43'

Dybala, out of options, attempts to wire a left-footed shot from outside the penalty area at goal - but can only find the midriff of Sirigu - who catches the effort cleanly.18:46

  46. 41'

The free-kick is scooped to the back post for Bonucci, who attempts to head a pass across the face of goal for a team-mate. It’s an awkward attempt that ultimately fails to meet its target as Sirigu can clear.18:44

  47. 39'

Ronaldo wins a free-kick from Rincon, who steps towards the forward with no chance at winning the ball. It’s a set-piece in a very dangerous area as the hosts have just over six minutes in the first half to bring the match level.18:42

  48. 37'

Linetty smashes away a Juventus cross aimed at Ronaldo, but Juve are able to regather in Torino’s half and come towards Sirigu again. Pirlo’s side are throwing everything they can at the Toro defence, but as of yet have been unable to muster a shot.18:40

  49. 35'

VAR has a look at Ansaldi’s clearance of a Juventus corner as the Juve players had all appealed for a handball. Upon review, the contact with the hand was purely incidental and the referee is happy to allow play to continue.18:39

  50. 33'

Dybala tries a low drive towards goal from a free-kick in a central position outside the Torino penalty area, but the wall does it’s job and deflects it out for a corner.18:36

  51. 31'

Lyanco attempts a shot from a long way out, forcing Szczesny to dive across his goal to protect his far corner. The effort ultimately goes wide, but it caused some nervy moments. 18:34

  52. 29'

Cuadrado and Chiesa attempt crosses from either side of the penalty area, but Rincon is there to step in and win the ball back for his side before Sirigu is called into action. Another sustained period of Juventus pressure ends without a shot on target, as Belotti sprints away to bring the ball up into Juve's half.18:31

  53. 27'

Juve are desperate for the equaliser, but Torino have stood firm as we approach the half-hour mark. The visitors haven’t done much in the way of creating chances, but their clinical finishing in front of goal has them in the lead.18:29

  54. 25'

Kulusevski links up well with Ronaldo as the two forwards barrel into the penalty area, but former Milan defender Rodriguez slams his legs shut to block the left-footed shot with his shins.18:27

  55. 23'

Juventus have only lost one of their last 28 Serie A matches against Torino (W21 D6): that defeat coming in April 2015, 1-2 with Torino’s goals coming from Matteo Darmian and Fabio Quagliarella.18:25

  56. 21'

Ronaldo works some room for himself to put in a cross, but Singo and Meite combine to win the ball back before earning a free-kick to clear their lines.18:24

  57. 19'

Rabiot and Chiesa link up with on the right edge of Torino’s penalty area, but a delayed return-pass for the winger allows N’Koulou to step across and shield the pass for his keeper. 18:21

  58. 17'

Rincon’s foul on Ronaldo gives Juventus a chance to deliver a cross into the penalty area, but Danilo’s headed pass to a team-mate from the delivery is intercepted by N’Koulou - who is proving his worth at both ends of the pitch.18:20

  59. 15'

Cuadrado sends a clever ball across the edge of the six from deep on the right flank, but both Chiesa and Ronaldo are a half-step behind the delivery as it rolls out on the other side for a goal-kick.18:18

  60. 13'

ZAZA ALMOST MAKES IT TWO! Belotti plays the former Juventus striker through on-goal with a lovely defence-splitting pass, but the attempted curler from inside the 18-yard box is parried well by Szczesny at full-stretch.18:16

  61. 11'

Juve find themselves behind for the second time in five Serie A matches, with the other ending in a 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona. Despite their large share of possession, the hosts have been unable to trouble the goalkeeper in the opening 10 minutes.18:15

  62. 9'

TORINO STRIKE FIRST IN THE DERBY! A corner from Ansaldi is taken to the near post for Meite, whose first-time flick into the middle of the penalty area finds an unmarked N’Koulou! It’s an easy stabbed finish for the centre-back who makes it 1-0!

    See Nicolas Nkoulou's player card18:12

    Nicolas Nkoulou
  63. 8'

Singo displays some lovely skill as he roulettes past a defender on the edge of the 18-yard box before his attempted square pass is cut out.18:11

  64. 6'

Lyanco comes across to block Rabiot’s cross, but only narrowly as Torino is forced deeper and deeper into their own half. The visitors have yet to keep hold of the ball for an extended period of time as they chase possession.18:09

  65. 4'

Rabiot’s corner finds the head of De Ligt, who manages to flick it backwards with his head to Kulusevski - but not before the referee blows his whistle for a foul on the Juventus centre-back.18:06

  66. 2'

An interesting idea from the kick-off, as Dybala pokes it back to Ronaldo, who immediately winds up and takes a shot from half-field, flying high over Sirigu's net. Looking for his 751st career goal - it never looked likely that Ronaldo would hit the target from that distance. 18:04

  67. 1'

Juventus get the match underway from the kick-off! 18:02

  68. Giampaolo makes only one change to the Torino XI that drew 2-2 with Sampdoria, as N’Koulou returns to the defence, replacing Bremer.18:12

  69. Pirlo makes four changes from the XI that earned a 1-1 draw with Benevento last time out. Bonucci returns to captain the side in defence, dropping Frabotta to the bench. Kulusevski and Bentancur enter the midfield in place of Ramsey and Arthur while main man Ronaldo is called back into the starting lineup, displacing Morata.17:51

  70. TORINO SUBS: Samuele Vianni, Antonio Rosati, Jacopo Segre, Bremer, Krisztofer Horvath, Mergim Vojvoda, Alessandro Buongiorno, Federico Bonazzoli, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, Armando Izzo, Simone Edera, Sasa Lukic, Amer Gojak.17:47

  71. TORINO XI (3-5-2): Salvatore Sirigu; Lyanco, Nicolas N’Koulou, Ricardo Rodriguez; Wilfried Singo, Soualiho Meite, Tomas Rincon, Karol Linetty, Cristian Ansaldi; Simone Zaza, Andrea Belotti.18:13

  72. JUVE SUBS: Gianluca Frabotta, Arthur, Manolo Portanova, Aaron Ramsey, Cosimo Marco Da Graca, Weston McKennie, Radu Dragusin, Franco Israel, Carlo Pinsoglio, Alex Sandro, Federico Bernardeschi. 17:46

  73. JUVENTUS XI (4-4-2): Wojciech Szczesny; Danilo, Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs De Ligt, Juan Cuadrado; Dejan Kulusevski, Adrien Rabiot, Rodrigo Bentancur, Federico Chiesa; Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala.17:46

  74. With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let’s look at how the two sides will line up - starting with the hosts! 17:43

  75. Winners of nine consecutive Scudetti, Juventus are looking for a win that will take them within three points of pace-setters Milan before the Rossoneri play tomorrow. A midweek Champions League thrashing of Dynamo Kyiv should buoy the spirits of Andrea Pirlo’s side; a team that has not managed back-to-back league wins so far this season.17:34

  76. Torino enter the derby on the back of three league matches without a victory, which has them squarely in the relegation zone. Winless in their last 16 matches at the home of Juventus, today’s visitors also own the worst defence in the Serie A - conceding 22 times in just nine fixtures. 17:31
