The hosts were clinical, scoring with one of only two shots on target, but ultimately failed to sustain pressure on a comfortable Juventus defence. After having three goals cancelled out for various infringements, the Bianconeri will just be happy with the win; a result that cuts their distance from the top to three points ahead of Milan’s match later on.
Genoa travel to face league leaders Milan in three days, while Juventus return to Turin to host Atalanta.
