He opened the scoring after missing a penalty, converting the rebound. His second goal was a true effort of a predator stealing in at the back post. Romelu Lukaku got a goal back for Antonio Conte's men to set up a tense second half. Inter were awarded a penalty when Lukaku was felled by Gianluigi Donnarumma, only for VAR to spot an offside in the build-up and the decision to be overturned. The Nerazzurri had their openings late on, but Milan held out for the three points.
Inter are in Champions League action next time out, facing Borussia Monchengladbach at home on Wednesday. Milan are also in European action next week, playing Celtic on the road in the Europa League on Thursday.
