What a win for Benevento! Adolfo Gaich's 69th-minute strike was enough to give them a deserved victory over Juventus. A first win in 12 attempts moves Filippo Inzaghi's side seven points clear of the relegation zone. As for Juve, they remain in third place and 10 points behind leaders Inter as their faint hopes of a 10th straight Scudetto are dented once more.

Juve will look to respond after the international break when they face rivals Torino in Derby della Mole. Meanwhile, Benevento aim to build on their momentum against Parma.

Thank you for following our live coverage. Until next time, goodbye!

  1. 90'+4'

    FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 0-1 BENEVENTO16:53

  2. 90'+2'

Bentancur takes out Viola and is rightly shown a yellow card.16:51

  3. 90'+1'

We are into the first of four additional minutes at the end of this game. Can Benevento hang on?16:50

  4. 90'

Good save again! Montipo to the rescue once more! The Benevento keeper stands firm to block Ronaldo's shot from a tight angle. Danilo follows up, but blazes over from close range.16:49

  5. 88'

Juve have their seventh corner of the game as they desperately seek an equaliser. Will seven be lucky for the Bianconeri?16:48

  6. 86'

Inzaghi is just under five minutes away from a famous victory over the club where he spent four successful years as a player. The former striker helped the Bianconeri win the Scudetto in 1998, while he was also their top scorer in three successive seasons.16:45

  7. 84'

Tello is booked for a foul on Bernardeschi.16:44

  8. 83'

Goalscorer Gaich also makes way to be replaced by Giuseppe Di Serio.16:42

  9. 83'

A double-change for Benevento. The first sees Hetemaj make way for Bryan Dabo.16:42

  10. 81'

Ronaldo goes for the spectacular on this occasion as he controls Chiesa's cross on his chest before attempting an overhead kick. However, Tuia does enough to put him off.16:59

  11. 80'

Good save! A man on a mission, Ronaldo embarks on a powerful run into the area. But Montipo stands tall to tip over his shot from a tight angle.16:39

  12. 78'

Benevento are just over 10 minutes away from what would be a first victory in 12 games. It would also move them seven points clear of the relegation zone.16:37

  13. 76'

Juve look for the equaliser and Bernardeschi is picked out by a deep ball to the far post. But he slices his volley way wide of the target.16:36

  14. 75'

Barba is booked for a foul on Ronaldo.16:35

  15. 74'

Rodrigo Bentancur is also introduced with Arthur making way.00:14

  16. 74'

Lapadula also makes way for the visitors with Gianluca Caprari replacing him.00:14

  17. 73'

Pirlo also opting for a double-swap. Firstly, Weston McKennie comes on for Rabiot.16:34

  18. 73'

A double-change for Benevento. The first sees Andres Tello replace Foulon.16:33

  19. 72'

No penalty! Juve appeal after Chiesa goes down in the box. However, replays showed that Foulon was already on the ground and helpless as the Bianconeri winger tripped over him.16:32

  20. 71'

Pirlo will be furious with Arthur after that. As a young footballer, one of the golden rules taught is to never pass the ball across your own penalty area. It is fair to say that Arthur paid the price on that occasion and Juve have work to do.16:32

  21. 69'

GAICH!!! 1-0 BENEVENTO! What a mistake by Arthur! The Juve midfielder looks to play the ball across his own penalty area and Gaich is quickly onto the ball. The striker does well to hold off Danilo's challenge, before firing into the corner to give the visitors the lead.

    Adolfo Gaich
  22. 67'

Good save! Juve break and Kulusevski's cross deflects off Barba before looping dangerously towards the Benevento goal. Fortunately, Montipo reacts swiftly to tip the ball away to safety.16:27

  23. 66'

Not far away! Looking to force the issue, Ronaldo demonstrates terrific improvisation on the edge of the box by controlling and quickly shooting on the turn. But his effort is wide of the target.16:25

  24. 64'

Benevento with a chance to break after Ronaldo is robbed of possession. Lapadula leads the charge, but runs into trouble rather than attempting to get a shot away and Juve have the ball back.16:23

  25. 62'

Juve dominating the possession at the moment, but they just cannot find a way through the blanket of white shirts in front of them.16:21

  26. 60'

We have hit the hour mark at the Allianz Stadium and, still, the breakthrough eludes both sides. You feel that one goal may be enough to settle this contest.16:20

  27. 58'

Kulusevski cuts onto his right foot in the Benevento box, but drags his eventual shot across the face of goal and wide.16:17

  28. 56'

The Bianconeri have registered 10 wins and two draws from their 13 home league games this season. Although, they are having to be patient here.16:16

  29. 54'

Ronaldo with an opportunity from a free-kick 30 yards from goal. But the Benevento wall stands tall to block his delivery.16:14

  30. 52'

A good, prolonged spell of pressure from Juve as they seek the opening goal of the contest. However, they are yet to convert it into the breakthrough.16:12

  31. 50'

Chiesa looks to provide a spark for Juventus as he goes for goal from a tight angle. But his effort is always rising.16:10

  32. 48'

The Giallorossi earned a creditable draw when the sides met in November. As things stand, they are on course to take a point off the remaining champions once more. Of course, there is a long way to go yet.16:08

  33. 46'

Benevento get the ball rolling again in the second half.16:04

  34. Both sides certainly need to demonstrate more creativity and a clinical edge in the final third upon the resumption of this contest. Juventus cannot afford to lose any more ground in their quest to claim a 10th successive Scudetto.16:00

  35. Still no score as Juventus and Benevento remain in deadlock at half-time. Chances have been few and far between for both sides, with the visitors arguably enjoying the better ones. 15:50

  36. 45'+2'

    HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 0-0 BENEVENTO15:48

  37. 45'+1'

Nothing came of the resulting free-kick and we are now into the first of two additional minutes at the end of this first half.15:46

  38. 44'

The hosts have a free-kick in a good position after Montipo is penalised for handball. The Benevento keeper was quickly out to gather a long ball over the top of the defence, but his momentum carried him outside the box with the ball in his possession.15:46

  39. 42'

Benevento must maintain their concentration for the remainder of the half. Juve have increased the pressure and asserted their authority on the contest as the clock has ticked down.15:44

  40. 40'

Juve have scored at least twice in each of their last seven home league games, but the breakthrough has deserted them so far today.15:41

  41. 38'

OFFSIDE, NO GOAL! An unmarked Ronaldo neatly guides Kulusevski's inviting cross into the far corner. However, his joy is short-lived as the offside flag is rightly raised.15:41

  42. 37'

GOOD SAVE! From the resulting corner, Morata climbs well to meet the delivery and his powerful header draws smart reflexes out of Montipo.15:47

  43. 36'

NO PENALTY! The referee points to the spot after Foulon is adjudged to have handled Kulusevski's cross into the box. However, after consulting VAR and the pitchside monitor, Mr Abisso rules out the penalty and instead signals a corner.15:38

  44. 35'

Juve continue to apply the pressure and Kulusevski cleverly turns away from his marker in the box. But Barba gets across well to block his attempted cross.15:37

  45. 33'

GOOD SAVE! Morata bursts into life with a powerful run into the Benevento box. The Spaniard gets his shot away, but Montipo gets down well to deny him.15:34

  46. 30'

Still goalless after half an hour in Turin. Juve yet to truly fire on all cylinders, while Benevento will take confidence from the start they have made to the contest.15:32

  47. 28'

CHANCE! It just needed a touch! A dangerous low cross is fizzed in from the right, but a sliding Ionita is just unable to make the vital contact to direct it over the line.15:33

  48. 26'

You must go back to January 6 for Benevento's only victory of 2021 so far. That day, they beat Cagliari 2-1.15:28

  49. 24'

At the other end, a deep free-kick into the Juve box is met by Tuia at the far post. However, the defender is unable to direct his header on target.15:24

  50. 22'

Good block! Ronaldo's cross is only cleared as far as Danilo, who has time to take a touch and shoot. Thankfully for the visitors, Barba is quickly out to the former Manchester City full-back and blocks his attempt.15:24

  51. 20'

A brief concern for the visitors as Hetemaj stays down. The former Finland international appeared to land awkwardly, but just takes a moment to recover before getting to his feet.15:21

  52. 17'

Bernardeschi is the first Juve player into the book today.15:18

  53. 16'

Former Milan striker Lapadula has found the net just once in his last 20 starts for Benevento. The Peru international will have to do better than that effort in order to improve his record.15:18

  54. 14'

Space opens for Lapadula, who tries his luck with an ambitious long-range attempt. Although, it goes far too high and is never troubling the goalkeeper.15:16

  55. 13'

Following Benevento's poor run of form, they are now just four points above the relegation zone in Serie A. They will be desperate to address that and not be dragged into a survival battle.15:15

  56. 11'

Benevento will need all hands on deck today. The Giallorossi are without a win in 11 games, losing six, and have scored just eight goals during that span.15:13

  57. 9'

Tuia receives the first yellow card of the game for a trip on Morata.15:10

  58. 8'

Benevento are awarded a free-kick and swing the ball into the box from the right flank. However, the hosts are alert to the delivery and clear without too many difficulties.15:09

  59. 6'

The leading marksman in Serie A this season, Ronaldo recently broke Pele's all-time record for goals in competitive matches after taking his tally to 770. He comes into today's game fresh from his first hat-trick of the campaign in last week's win at Cagliari.15:08

  60. 4'

JUST WIDE! Moments later, Ronaldo has his first sight on goal at the other end. The ball breaks kindly in the box for Juve's talisman, who drives a low shot inches wide of the far post. 15:05

  61. 3'

Slip from De Ligt! A nervy moment for the hosts as the centre-half slips with Lapadula breathing down his neck. Fortunately, Szczesny is alert and quickly steps in to avert any danger.15:04

  62. 1'

Referee Rosario Abisso blows his whistle and Juve get the match underway.15:01

  63. The players are coming out onto the pitch and kick-off is fast approaching.14:56

  64. The form book would certainly make Juve the favourites here. The reigning champions have won four of their last five league games, while Benevento have lost three of their four most recent outings.14:52

  65. There are also three alterations by Filippo Inzaghi as he prepares to face his former club. Daam Foulon, Luca Caldriola and Gianluca Lapadula come into the starting 11, with Gianluca Caprari dropping to the bench. Kamil Glik and Pasquale Schiattarella are suspended, while Iago Falque, Gaetano Letizia and Fabio Depaoli miss out through injury.14:47

  66. Andrea Pirlo makes three changes to the side that began Juventus' 3-1 win at Cagliari last weekend. Leonardo Bonucci, Federico Bernardeschi and Arthur return to the starting line-up, with Giorgio Chiellini dropping to the bench. Juan Cuadrado misses out through suspension, while Alex Sandro joins the likes of Paulo Dybala, Aaron Ramsey and Merih Demiral on the injury list.14:42

  67. SUBS: Nicola Manfredini, Christian Pastina, Andres Tello, Bryan Dabo, Roberto Insigne, Gianluca Caprari, Giuseppe Di Serio, Gabriele Moncini, Marco Sau, Igor Lucatelli.14:34

  68. BENEVENTO: Lorenzo Montipo, Daam Foulon, Alessandro Tuia, Luca Caldirola, Federico Barba, Riccardo Improta, Nicolas Viola, Perparim Hetemaj, Artur Ionita, Gianluca Lapadula, Adolfo Gaich.14:34
