Despite going a goal behind and looking shaky early, Juventus managed to come back and take all three points from Lazio - thanks to two second-half goals from Morata. There was only one side playing after the restart, with the Bianoceleste failing to carry any of their earlier momentum forward. They gifted their opponents the lead after Escalante’s poor play in midfield let Chiesa and Morata through unopposed - before an extremely lax moment in defence by Milinkovic-Savic gave the referee no other option than to point to the spot; allowing the Spain international to dispatch his second goal in three minutes. Lazio had no answers from there and fell limply to a 3-1 defeat that keeps them seventh in the table ahead of tomorrow’s play. The win keeps Juve third, but they are now just one point back of Milan in second.
Juventus are in action again on Tuesday when they host Porto in the Champions League, before facing Cagliari in Serie A next Sunday. Lazio feature again on Friday when they host Crotone.
That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Lazio! We hope you’ve enjoyed it!

90'+3'
FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 3-1 LAZIO. 22:37
90'+2'
One final change for Juventus late in the match, as Kulusevski is replaced by Di Pardo.22:34
90'+1'
The fourth official indicates three minutes will be added for stoppages. 22:34
90'
CLOSE! Pereira’s corner is met by Acerbi, who nods it to the far post for Correa. The forward sees the waiting figure of Fares on the edge of the penalty area and tees the defender up for a shot; an effort which only ripples the side-netting.22:51
88'
Lazio are desperately looking for a goal to close the gap in the score, but Juve’s midfielders are still pressing intently. Though the clean sheet possibility is gone, Szczesny will be imploring his side to maintain vigilance so as not to concede again.22:32
86'
Juventus are in time-control mode as they look to sap precious seconds from the clock. It looks as though it's job done for Pirlo's side, who've responded very well to a poor showing in the first half. 22:36
84'
Ronaldo has scored five goals in five games against Lazio in Serie A, only scoring more against Parma in the Italian top-flight (six).22:27
82'
Juventus make a change at the same time, with Chiesa coming off for Bonucci.22:35
82'
Caicedo will get some time to stretch his legs, as Alberto is called to the bench.22:27
82'
Immobile has had a quiet and uninvolved game - one that ends just short of the full-time whistle as Muriqi is brought on.22:27
82'
Marusic is replaced by Pereira with just under 10 minutes remaining.22:26
80'
Acerbi is deemed to have tugged Rabiot back in midfield, giving Juventus a free-kick. The referee doesn’t stop there, however, opting to show the experienced centre-back a yellow card as well.22:35
78'
Bernardeschi isn't happy with the referee after Milinkovic-Savic puts a sliding challenge in on the winger. It's a free-kick for the Bianconeri - though the player feels a card should have been produced. 22:22
76'
WHAT A SAVE! Immobile picks his head up and strikes at goal from well outside the penalty area, but Szczesny meets the strike with a fantastic diving parry that clears the danger from his box.22:19
74'
Lazio have another corner-kick, though this time it’s taken by Correa. The change in taker doesn’t really affect the outcome though, as the forward sends his set-piece out of play immediately. 22:17
72'
Alberto looks to trouble Juventus from a corner, but it’s a poor effort as the midfielder sends his delivery right into the waiting arms of Szczesny. 22:15
70'
Ramsey is withdrawn after 70 minutes, allowing McKennie to see out the remainder of the match. 22:14
70'
Juve's second change is a bit unorthodox, as Arthur is sent on for Cuadrado - signalling a change in formation. 22:13
69'
Pirlo decides against giving Ronaldo a full day's rest, as he’s sent on with 20 minutes left in the match. Morata is the man to make way.22:13
68'
With just over 20 minutes remaining, Lazio look out of ideas as Juve are now in a position to sit back and defend. It could get even worse for the visitors - as they’re now vulnerable to the counter-attack.22:12
66'
A lovely set of one-two passes between Danilo and Kulusevski opens up some room for the Juventus attack; a foray that comes to an end disappointingly after Chiesa sends his strike directly at Reina.22:09
64'
With Juventus two goals ahead, it feels as though Pirlo won’t end up risking Ronaldo ahead of the Bianconeri’s crucial second-leg tie against Porto in the Champions League this week. A full week’s rest is invaluable at this stage of the season, especially for their veteran star.22:08
62'
Lazio lost their last two away Serie A games, against Inter and Bologna and could lose three league matches in a row on the road for the first time since 2015 under Stefano Pioli.22:06
60'
3-1! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! Morata steps up and sends Reina the wrong way, dispatching his penalty with confidence as the Bianconeri double their advantage!
JUVENTUS ARE GIVEN A PENALTY! Lazio are unravelling as Milinkovic-Savic goes to win the ball back from Ramsey, only to bowl him over from behind. The Lazio player gives the referee a decision to make, and the match official promptly points to the spot! Can Juve go 3-1 up!?22:05
57'
It's play of the highest quality from Chiesa, who does well to burst into space before playing a perfectly timed pass - allowing Morata to run clear through on-goal while keeping his team-mate onside. It’s a brilliantly unselfish decision from the winger - who gets the assist.22:05
57'
MORATA GIVES JUVENTUS THE LEAD! It’s a very similar situation to Lazio’s goal in the first half, as Escalante fails to get on the end of a sloppy pass in midfield, allowing Chiesa to latch onto the loose ball. With only one defender to beat, the winger slips a pass through for Morata, who takes a touch to set himself before beating Reina at the near post! 2-1!
The second change is defensive in nature, with centre-back Patric on to replace Lulic.21:58
55'
Lazio make a pair of changes just before the hour, with the first alteration coming in midfield. Lucas is withdrawn for Escalante. 21:58
54'
The match has really picked up, with both sides going agonisingly close to taking the lead within minutes. Both Pirlo and Inzaghi have clearly instructed their teams to push forward - which will no doubt add to the spectacle. 21:57
52'
MILINKOVIC-SAVIC OFF THE BAR! The midfielder ghosts into the penalty and stays onside ahead of Bernardeschi, getting on the end of Fares’ early cross and slamming his quick-fire header off of the woodwork and out for a goal-kick.21:56
50'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR CHIESA! Incredibly quick feet from the winger, who manages to dance around two Lazio defenders inside the penalty area before firing a low near-post shot which brings a great diving save out of Reina.21:52
48'
Bernardeschi takes Juve’s first corner of the second half, though the mishit set-piece is taken to the near post where Lulic can clatter it away.21:50
46'
Lazio get the match restarted from the kick-off! 21:48
With all still to play for in the second half, both teams should feel confident in going for the win. With a draw not really helping either cause, both managers will be looking to their bench for solutions. Things are relatively simple for Pirlo, who has the ultimate option on the bench in Ronaldo should his side need to search for a goal - with McKennie and Arthur also available to change things up. For Lazio, the creativity of Pereira or the size and strength of Muriqi and Caicedo could really pose the Juve defense questions.21:35
Despite looking lacklustre for large stretches of the first half, Juventus have found a way to get themselves back in the contest and head into the interval level with Lazio at 1-1. The visitors struck first after Kulusevski’s giveaway in midfield allowed Correa to seize the opportunity and break the deadlock, but the lead would only last 25 minutes. Coming against the run of play, Rabiot’s thunderous finish has made Pirlo’s team-talk slightly easier, despite their relatively poor showing in the first 45.21:32
45'
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-1 LAZIO. 21:32
43'
Chiesa and Marusic battle for the loose ball near the Lazio corner flag, but it’s the defender who wins the duel - forcing the Juventus winger into a rash challenge which gives away a free-kick.21:29
41'
Lazio have conceded a league-high 60% of their goals in the first half in Serie A this season (20/33).21:29
39'
Morata gets himself involved in the action for the first time today - and gets an assist for his troubles after his inch-perfect pass found Rabiot for the equaliser. 21:28
39'
IT'S 1-1 NOW! JUVENTUS GET THEMSELVES LEVEL! Morata slips a pass into the penalty area for Rabiot, who continues his run and gets onto the ball before lashing an absolute hammerblow with his left which beats Reina at his near post!
IT SHOULD REALLY BE 1-1! Bernardeschi delivers a fantastic cross to the edge of the six-yard box, where Danilo is allowed to rise freely without any defensive cover. Even still - he sends his chance just wide of the post!21:25
37'
Lulic takes Bernardeschi down just outside the penalty area - giving Juventus a set-piece with which to cause havoc inside Lazio’s 18-yard box.21:23
36'
A cross is hoisted into the penalty area from the left wing for Immobile, who manages to flick the ball backwards to the far post. It’s put too far ahead of Correa though - as the striker is a full step behind which allows Alex Sandro to clear.21:23
34'
Juventus are putting pressure on their opponents after a sustained period of possession, but Alex Sandro’s rash elbow during an aerial duel with Correa gifts Lazio the ball with just under 15 minutes to play in the first half.21:21
32'
Great chance for Ramsey, who picks up possession on the left wing and chops inside with a lovely touch before firing a misplaced shot that sails wide of the goal.21:18
30'
A Juventus free-kick deep on the left wing is taken short by Alex Sandro to Danilo, who plays a cross-field pass to Cuadrado. It initially looked to be something from the training ground - but a lack of coordination allows the ball to go behind for a corner-kick after Ramsey is unable to get to the delivery.21:16
28'
Bernardeschi’s corner is met by the head of Milinkovic-Savic before Lulic is able to hook it away from the 18-yard box. It isn’t fully cleared though as Juve are able to recollect inside Lazio’s half and mount another attack.21:15
27'
Juventus have lost two of their last seven games against Lazio in Serie A (W4 D1), as many defeats as in the previous 29 (W19 D8).21:13
25'
Juventus’ players are furious with the referee, who has failed to give the Bianconeri a penalty after it appeared as though Hoedt’s arm made contact with the ball inside Lazio’s penalty area. Chiesa is absolutely incensed, but the referee has no problems letting play continue after a little word with VAR.21:13
23'
Juventus’ first real chance ends in disappointment as Kulusevski is unable to take a shot at the first opportunity after Cuadrado’s pass falls to his weaker right foot inside the penalty area. Looking to salvage the situation, the former Parma winger cuts back but is dispossessed almost immediately.21:11
22'
Again a Lazio player is allowed to streak down the middle of the pitch unopposed, as Alberto carries possession to the edge of the 18-yard box, before slicing a shot that’s directed right at the chest of a grateful Szczesny.21:09
20'
More trouble for Juventus as Lazio is allowed to take a quick free-kick in midfield short, which gets Milinkovic-Savic into a good position. With time and space, the Serbia international curls a shot towards the far corner - forcing a good punch from Szczesny.21:07
18'
Kulusevski is back in possession on the corner of Lazio’s penalty area - but out of options, the forward is forced to turn back towards Demiral in midfield. Even when the Bianconeri push forward, they are finding it very difficult to create gaps of space with which to play.21:05
16'
Juventus must find a way to respond after going a goal behind, though their opening 15 minutes hasn’t inspired much confidence. They’ve got to find a way to open up Lazio’s midfield, as the low block is stifling anything the hosts try to create.21:04
14'
LAZIO HAVE THEIR OPENER! 1-0 TO THE VISITORS! It’s exceptionally poor from Kulusevski, whose misplaced pass in midfield gifts Correa possession with time and space to work. From there, the forward drives into the penalty area, turns Demiral inside-out and finishes coolly into the bottom corner!
Luis Alberto plays a lovely pass to the edge of the penalty area for Lulic, but the winger’s poor first-touch plays the ball into the path of Alex Sandro - who again clears his lines much to Szczesny’s approval.20:59
10'
JUST WIDE! Milinkovic-Savic and Alberto stand over the dead ball, but it’s the former who strikes the set-piece, getting his curling effort up and over the wall expertly - but missing the corner of the net by centimetres!20:56
8'
Kulusevski takes Correa down with a late challenge outside Szczesny's penalty area - giving Lazio an opportunity to strike at goal from a free-kick.20:54
6'
Correa gets onto the ball in acres of space on the left wing, cutting inside slowly as he looks to get past Cuadrado. The right-back cuts the angle and forces a shot - though the effort is blocked by a well-placed Demiral.20:52
4'
Juventus are pressing their opponents high in an attempt to win the ball back near Reina’s goal, but some silky passing on the right wing allows Fares to storm through the midfield unopposed. His early shot from outside the penalty area ends in disappointment though - sending it over the bar.20:51
2'
Fares gets Lazio up the pitch early down the left flank, but a sloppy interchange with Lulic allows Juventus to win back the ball near their own goal via a throw-in.20:48
1'
Juve get the match underway from the kick-off! 20:46
Lazio make just two changes from their 2-0 loss against Bologna last time out. Fares replaces Patric in defence, while an injury to Manuel Lazzari allows Lulic to start.20:38
Juventus make four changes from their 3-0 win over Spezia in midweek. The return of Cuadrado sees him displace Frabotta at right-back, while the duo of Bernardeschi and Ramsey are preferred over McKennie and Rodrigo Bentancur, who doesn’t make the squad. In attack, Pirlo has decided to give Ronaldo a rest, preferring Morata as Kulusevski’s partner to start the match.20:38
LAZIO SUBS: Marco Parolo, Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Patric, Mateo Musacchio, Vedat Muriqi, Felipe Caicedo, Gonzalo Escalante, Thomas Strakosha, Florent Shehu, Andreas Pereira, Danilo Cataldi, Gabriel Pereira.20:33

With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let's take a look at the team news - starting with our hosts!20:32
Lazio’s outside shot at Champions League qualification could receive a huge boost with three points at the Allianz Stadium today, despite their 2-0 loss to Bologna last Saturday. Ciro Immobile will no-doubt be the main man for the Biancocelesti, with the Italy international having netted a whopping 37% of his side’s goals in the league. He was the key man the last time Lazio won in Turin, with his two goals enough to register a 2-1 win in 2017.20:25
Juventus got back to winning ways in midweek thrashing Spezia 3-0 after a lacklustre draw with Hellas Verona last weekend. 10 points back of leaders Inter with a game in-hand, Andrea Pirlo’s side cannot afford to drop any more points if they wish to push the pace-setters until the final day. A loss, however, could really complicate their Champions League aspirations as both Napoli and the two Rome clubs are right behind them.20:22
